This was my first experience at Lee's Chinese Buffet and will probably be my last unless serious changes are made. As we walked into the restaurant, we were seated by our hostess/waitress. She was not friendly or personable. We went to the buffet and everything seemed to be okay with the selection. It was limited compared to other Chinese restaurants. After returning to my seat, I noticed a used fork on the floor beside my chair from a previous guest. Not a game changer but I thought I would include it. My friend's chair had a thread from the carpet wrapped around the leg which caused the carpet to unravel. The water I ordered tasted off. It tasted like unfiltered tap water. I started eating my food and noticed that the food lacked seasoning. The wonton soup was also the same. I got an egg roll at the buffet and it tasted stale. It was definitely not fresh. The waitress came around only once to give us refills. We did not go back for seconds as we did not like the first plate. We waited for our check but our waitress was cutting green beans with scissors at the hostess stand. When we started walking to the counter, she gave us our fortune cookies and check as we were walking. We paid and told the checkout lady to have a great day and the formality was not returned or acknowledged. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Typical chinese buffet. Ok selection, "sushi" isnt to bad. Service OK. I suggest getting it to go, load up the place, get a soup bowl (I fill mine with the sushi) and a tea all for $10.
They sell gold fish and last time I was in there was a poor turtle with no where to chill out at. Just sell the food and stop with the pets on the side please. -

Food and service among the worst on Troy.
Service:
Had to wait a minute for the waiter/host to finish texting before he noticed us. He sat us down and took our drink order, by the time we got back from getting our food he had already sat another family at our table. The restaurant was at half capacity.
The drink orders were wrong. Asked for a water and sweet tea, got two soft drinks. Asked for chopsticks three times wound up going to the host's stand and getting them myself.
Food:
Most of the food was average buffet quality. One of the chicken dishes tasted extremely rubbery with Buffalo Wing sauce then something traditionally asian. I sampled the various sushi offerings and they all tasted the same.
Bottom Line:I'd suggest you try one of the many other asian offerings in troy.
